Daniel Silva Dominguez: 6 Months of Laughter

It's been over 6 months now and we can't believe how time has just flown by. Daniel has grown and changed so much since he was born. At birth Daniel weighed 9.8 lbs, measured 22 inches in length and had dark hair with a slight tan (Ha Ha). At his recent 6 month appointment earlier this month Daniel was weighing 19.5 lbs, measuring at 28 1/2 inches long, has very fair skin and very light brown hair. Needless to say, the Dr. somehow thought he was much older and had to look at her chart again to make sure she had the right kid. She was very impressed at how Daniel held himself up while sitting, was babbling, rolling over back and forth quickly and playing peek-a-boo with her. He passed with flying colors and we were thankful he was healthy and full of laughter..until the shots. Never seems to like those and I don't blame him.

Daniel's first tooth was discovered about a week ago at Grandma Silva's house. She noticed his first tooth peeking through right in the middle of his lower gums. Daniel doesn't seem to mind it just yet and continues to chew on any and everything he gets his hands on.

In the spirit of Christmas, we took Daniel to pick out his first Christmas tree, first visit with Santa at Kidsville Playtown and his his first Christma card photos. I dressed up Daniel as an Elf and had our friends at IVP studios take some photos of him at our home for his first Christmas photo experience. Gotta love how he didn't smile even once!
